Heritage Open Day Event at Blofield

Please join us for an event entitled “Conserving Nature – Enhancing Wellbeing” on Saturday 9th September 10 am until 4 pm at Blofield Church.

Blofield churchyard has been managed for wildflower conservation for over 30 years by the church and by Blofield and District Conservation Group. Come and see more of its local work. Norfolk Wildlife Trust has carried out wild flower surveys throughout the year. See the results. A Healing Garden of medicinal herbs has been developed; a herbalist will explain their history and use. View the results of a moth trap set up the previous evening. Discover connections to the famous Paston family and John Dryden the first Poet Laureate.
